Government Contracting

CIRI formed a new subsidiary in late 2005, ANC Research & Development LLC, and sought U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) status with the intention of pursuing national defense-related information technology contracts.

ANC R&D received its 8(a) certification in October 2006 and is actively seeking new business partners and contracting opportunities. ANC R&D won its first competitive bid, a $3.2 million contract to replace a Washington state bridge for the U.S. Department of Transportation, on Jan. 8. ANC R&D started work in February 2008 and expects to complete the project by the end of October 2008.

A second CIRI subsidiary, CIRAZ LLC, received its SBA 8(a) status in March 2007 and is actively seeking business partners and government security service contracting opportunities.
