2009 Board election
CIRI is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors. Directors are elected to three-year terms, so five director slots are open for re-election each year. This year, CIRI shareholders will hear a business report, elect five candidates to the CIRI Board and transact any other business properly brought before the meeting. The meeting will be held on Saturday, June 6 at the Soldotna Sports Center in Soldotna, with registration from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Board-recommended candidatesEach year, CIRI invites shareholders who are interested in running for the CIRI Board to apply for consideration as Board-recommended candidates. After careful consideration of all the applicants, your CIRI Board of Directors selected five persons as Board-recommended candidates, because the Board believes they will help CIRI maintain the leadership team it needs for continued growth and success. |
Write-In candidatesShareholders who are not part of CIRI's Board-recommended slate of candidates, but who wished to have their names, personal information and photographs included in certain of CIRI’s proxy materials, were given an opportunity to do so. Shareholders who took advantage of the opportunity by submitting their information by the specified deadline are identified as "Write-In Candidates" in CIRI's Proxy Statement and Voter's Guide. |
