The 28th Annual Meeting of CIRI shareholders will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2001, in Puyallup, Wash., at Chief Leschi School located at 5625 42nd Street East. The annual meeting is the forum for shareholders to elect five directors to the CIRI board of directors, hear a business report on the company's 2000 operations, and to transact any other business properly brought before the annual meeting.
This year's board-endorsed slate of candidates includes veteran members Charles G. Anderson and Gosta Dagg, chairman Terry L. Simpson, M.D., attorney Michael R. Boling, and businessman Ronald G. Perry. All board-endorsed and other candidates will be invited to speak during the annual meeting.

Each year, the location of CIRI's annual meeting is rotated among three locations: Anchorage, Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, and the Pacific Northwest. The last time the annual meeting was held in Washington was in 1998.

Registration for the annual meeting begins at 9 a.m., and all voting shareholders must register by 1 p.m. to vote in person at the meeting. While only shareholders with voting stock of record are entitled to vote at the meeting, immediate family members and non-voting shareholders are invited to attend.

In addition to learning about CIRI's business operations and other formal business, a lunch will be served, door prizes will be drawn, and informational booths will be on display.
