Executive Assistant to the CIRI Chairman
& Board of Directors
This position provides a high level of administrative and related support services for CIRI's chairman of the board, board of directors and board committees. Duties include recording board of directors procedures; serving as the board of directors coordinator and custodian of board and committee records; and providing administrative support including typing and revising letters and reports, filing, and responding to routine correspondence as requested. Minimum experience for this position includes some business college and a minimum of five years of experience as an executive assistant or other progressively responsible secretarial position; or any combination of education and experience that provides a high degree of skills, knowledge and abilities.
Maintenance Assistant
A maintenance assistant is needed to provide maintenance for grounds and common areas of all CIRI-owned buildings in Anchorage. Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping, a current Alaska driver's license, and a clean driving record are required.
Courier
This position is responsible for completing all errands and deliveries in a professional and timely manner. This position requires a high school education or combination of education and abilities necessary to perform duties of the job. All applicants must have current Alaska driver's license and good driving record.

Community Services Manager
The community services manager is responsible for program operations of general assistance/interim assistance and childcare, including the monitoring of compliance with program regulations and the provision of direct services to the clients. The community services manager provides direct services to clients accessing general assistance, interim assistance, burial services and supportive services, including case management, information and referral, and recommendation for financial aid. This position also oversees the child care coordinator and the G.A./interim assistance coordinator and is responsible for the accuracy of billings and disbursements, the tracking of funds, and accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or counseling is preferred as well as two years of increasingly responsible management experience in the provision of social services in a non-profit setting. Applicant must have proven ability to manage budgets, including state and federal grants, provide intensive case management, and supervise others in case management for high-risk Native families.
Title IV-E Foster Care Program Coordinator
The Title IV-E Foster Care Program coordinator is a combined position that will oversee the development of a MIS system to manage client information, to track billing, and submit reimbursement of Title IV-E funding. This position is also responsible for the recruitment and training of culturally appropriate Native foster parent homes, and the development and implementation of foster parent support groups and services. The coordinator provides direct foster care case management service to Native families and clients, including outreach services in client homes. Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling and the ability to provide culturally sensitive and appropriate services to Native Families.

New Beginnings Family Advocate
Under the supervision of the New Beginnings supervisor, the family advocate works with families in the home environment to promote the physical, mental and emotional well being of infants and young children. The advocate assists in strengthening the parent-child relationship by improving parenting skills, reducing family stress and meeting needs of parents. Works with individual clients and groups. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent, a child development associates degree or similar certified training preferred. A minimum of one year of experience and demonstrated proficiency in a position in social services or education working with Alaska Natives and Native Americans in the same general socio-economic category as the clients of this project is also preferred.
Child Welfare Family Advocate
The family advocate provides direct service to Native families and clients who are involved with the Department of Family and Youth Services or at risk of being involved with DFYS, including outreach services in client homes. This includes individual home visits, ongoing assessments, coordination, resource information, client advocacy, and referral to other service providers. Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, and provides intensive client case management. This position requires the ability to work and establish rapport with families experiencing stress; a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling; and the ability to provide culturally sensitive and appropriate services to Native families.
Funding Officer, Cook Inlet Tribal Council
Cook Inlet Tribal Council has an opening for a full time financial aid officer. This position is responsible for two areas: processing a variety of scholarship documents for higher education tribal training within a computerized accounting system, and for providing financial aid advising to students attending college. Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree or a four-year combination of professional experience and course work at an accredited college or university.
